July 2013 Meeting

The July meeting will focus on whatever is of interest to those attending the meeting and will provide ample opportunity for questions and answers. We’ve all been busy with our bees, so it’s likely you have some questions. Please bring them for some feedback from other beekeepers.

Directions:
Phillipsburg is having a parade that day, so unless you really know your way around there, John has suggested an alternate route.

• From State College area take interstate 99 south to Bald Eagle exit then route 350 north to Sandy Ridge
• At the blinker light in Sandy Ridge turn LEFT onto State street
• follow State street FIVE (5) miles toward Osceola Mills
• You will eventually come to a railroad crossing. Immediately after the railroad crossing turn RIGHT onto Walker street
• Go One block, turn Left onto Foreman street. Foreman street is a dead end and I am the last house on right — tan house with brown roof

Other Notes
The folks who host an annual celebration of pollinators will hold their event on Saturday, July 20th at Snetsinger Butterfly Garden at Tudek Park in State College. They would love to have someone from our group share his or her love of honeybees at this event. If you would like to represent us, please contact the Centre County Beekeepers.
