Pear Salad with Honey

Today's recipe comes to us courtesy of member Mary Jo Lenzing.

Pear Salad with Honey

Cut the pears horizontally into 1/2 inch slices and core them. [Cut a thin slice off of the bottom so that the pear will not wobble and fall down when you re-assemble it.]

In a bowl, mix crumbled gorgonzola cheese (or your favorite blue cheese), chopped pecans and your favorite balsamic vinaigrette with watercress.

On a plate, re-assemble the pear, layering the watercress mixture with the pear slices. Drizzle honey all over the layered pear and plate.

This dish looks beautiful and tastes awesome.
