Our next meeting is Sunday, July 22, 2:00-4:00 at Camille Francl's apiary at 97 Marvin Street, Port Matilda. July's meeting topic is Small Scale Honey Extraction . PLEASE BRING A CHAIR.
On that topic, the club has a 6-frame hand crank radial extractor that is available for rental ($10) to members who have paid their 2012 dues (also $10). I believe that deep frames do NOT fit into the club extractor, but mediums and shallow frames fit just fine.
We'll devote some of the meeting to Q&A. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions while the hive is open.

Announcement: To simplify scheduling, we're planning to have all of our future outdoor meetings on the 3rd Saturday of each month (excpet for July!). If you'd like to host a meeting, please respond to this mailing and let us know when you might be available and where your apiary is located.
Cutout/trap-out opportunity: There is an opportunity to do a cut-out or trap-out of a colony of honeybees that has moved into a house on Pine Creek Hollow road, north of Woodward. Please respond to this note if you are interested in taking it on.
