HI all - our last meeting for 2018 is set for Tuesday, Oct. 16th, starting at 6:30p. We'll be back at CPI in Pleasant Gap. Door prizes, prize for 'favorite honey' winner - don't miss out!
1)
We'll
have a good discussion on getting our hives ready for winter. Please
bring for show and tell any "things" you've developed for helping your
bees overwinter - fondant recipes, hive quilt ideas, mouse guard
designs, hive wrap options, etc. If there is something to show, great,
or just come prepared to talk about what you're doing in your apiary.
2) If
you've got a little honey, bring it and we'll have a tasting and
friendly 'vote for your favorite' competition like we did last year
:-)
3) Bring a snack to share if you can - the club will provide cider and
water.
