September Happenings
On Sunday, September 24th, starting at 1:30pm, we'll have our next club meeting at Dee Bagshaw's apiary: 12766 Alan Seeger Rd., Petersburg, PA (google map address). Directions: From State College, go South on Rt. 26, to Pine Grove Mills, then take a left at the light and continue on Rt. 26. Total of about 14 miles - just before you come into the village of McAlevy's Fort, take a left on Alan Seeger Rd., then 2nd driveway on the right.
After our meeting, we'll go to Whipple Dam park for a club picnic starting at about 3:30ish. Join us even if you can't make the apiary visit. The club will provide the main dish (BBQ pork/chicken) and rolls, along with lemonade and plates/cups/plasticware. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share, along with folding chairs if you have them. We are reserving a pavillion, so more details will be sent out soon.
